ADULT SINGLES TENNIS LADDER
Play will start on October 1st and run through March 31st. All matches must be scheduled on your own time and must be completed in 1 hour. Matches will be 2 short sets to 4 games with a set tie breaker at 3-3. If sets are split then a match tie breaker shall be played. The ladder will be run online through www.leaguesforfun.com. All challenges, scores and standings must go through the website. There will be both a Men’s and Women’s Ladder of mixed levels. Players who sign up before September 24th will be placed by rating. LEAGUE REGISTRATION NIGHT: Tuesday, August 31st, 2010 at 6:00pm. Payment must be made in person on registration night or by the first week of league play for players who register online. Open play for all levels from 6:00-8:00pm.
This league is open to all members and non-members. Play commences on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 and will run for 14 weeks through December 19th, 2010 (Skipping Thanksgiving Week). Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Online Registration opens at 8:00 am on Tuesday, August 31st for players who have a Login/Password from previous enrollment. You may register online but payment must be made in person at SFE on registration night or by the first week of league play. You may also register by coming in person on Tuesday August 31st from 6-7pm. Registration will take place at the SFE Essex Tennis Courts & practice area. Open play will be available on all 4 courts from 6-8pm. Space is limited to 5-10 teams depending on number of courts available for each specific league. Placement in the league as to player’s ability will be at the discretion of the League Administrator, Tammy Azur. Tennis balls, court time, rules, schedules, standings and awards are included in the price. Our League Standings and updates will be online at www.leaguesforfun.com. Awards for past league winners will be available for pick up.
